What's growing?

Here at White Chimneys, we grow organic vegetables, fruits, and flowers. (Note that we are not certified organic - yet!) We usually sell to individuals based on what we've planted for the season. We can grow specific varieties to request so please contact us. Here's a sampling our crops!

Purple Kohlrabi

Cool weather crunchy veg that tastes something like peeled broccoli stems.

Swiss Chard

A favorite leafy "green" in jewel tones!

Pumpkins Etc.

Sweet orange flesh for pies and side dishes!

Zinnia seedlings

A favorite flower of humans and pollinators!

Everybody loves our zinnias!

All Red Potatoes

One of our favorite heirloom potatoes, they are that pinkish red throughout. When kept whole, the resemble little sausages in your dishes.

Raspberries

Heritage and Fall Gold raspberries are plentiful in late summer!

Salad Turnips

Hakurei turnips are tender and sweet enough to be eaten raw in salads but may also be sautéed. Don't forget the greens!

Sweet Potatoes

They looked like dead bits of plants but grew to this size in a few weeks. By fall, they have taken over.

Bushel Gourds

These are dried and aged bushel gourds, ready for your craft projects. Contact us.

Broccoli loves cool weather and we look forward to the fall crop!
